[ It's the weekend, and a certain Ryoji Mochizuki is sitting on the bus headed who knows where! It's hot, it's sunny, and this guy needs some adventure. There's a gentle smile on his face as he tugs at that trademark yellow scarf around his neck. The blurring scenery comes into focus as the bus slows and comes to a stop.

He doesn't seem to notice that the seat right next to him is the only remaining spot on a crowded bus. Perhaps he'd pay a little more attention to whoever is getting on otherwise. Care to sit next to an eccentrically dressed teen with his crazy cuffs and fancy suspenders? Fashion these days... ]

[Eccentrically dressed teen meet equally eccentric bear.]

Is this seat taken, baby~? [came a smooth tone that somehow managed to be both irritatingly nasally and sweetly charming at the same time. Upon peeking up into the aisle, Ryoji would be face-to-face with a rather effeminate-looking teen with windswept blond hair and the deepest blue eyes ever gazed upon by mankind. And were those actual sparkles shimmering lovingly around that immaculate, pale skin or was that just the shine of his oh-so perfect smile?

That was up to you, dear player.]

[ That smooth tone, and the slightly less smooth "baby" that came with it... Who's trying to impersonate Ryoji's bold charm here? The young man was a little taken aback as he looked from the window to the- woah.

This kid is radiating on full blast and it's almost intimidating to someone who fancied himself the charming one. ]

Of course not, friend. Please-

[ He flashed his own warm grin, clearly trying to throw some sparkles back his way. Teddie may have his golden hair and sapphire eyes going for him, but Ryoji has... a cute beauty mark and his scarf. ]

Thank you bear-y much! [Some of that smooth charm flitted away as the bear-turned-human plopped down gracelessly onto the open seat, long, skinny legs dangling above the ground as the blond turned to grin at his new friend.

--Sorry, Ryoji. Teddie makes all the charm and is so very rarely the actual target of it. That attempt goes straight over the good-natured bear's empty head.]

Is this your first time on the bus?

Oh you're- [ He visibly hesitated, his smile dropping for a second as he curiously looked at Teddie. Just as it seemed he was about to remain tripped up by that bear wordplay, he gave another warm smile and laughed. ] You're bear-y welcome.

[ Ryoji leaned his shoulder back against the window as he watched Teddie get comfortable. ]

Well you're a hard one to read, aren't you? This is my first time traveling very far, but have we met before?

[ Something vague about this boy made DEATH feel a strangely faint kinship. ]

[The sense of familiarity isn't missed on Teddie, but with his sensitive nose not up to par while outside of the television, he's easily distracted from that tingling feeling, instead all too happy to converse with this new bestest pal! After all, it wasn't every day that he met a human who was clearly in need of his vast expertise! If this was Ryoji's first extended journey, he'd need all of the advice the little bear had to give! Duh!]

Oh yeah? [Teddie's head tilts to the side sweetly, grin curling in just the right way to be both so terribly charming and sheepishly innocent before a hand thrust enthusiastically outwards towards Ryoji.] Teddie can help! I take the bus all the time! And the train! [Much more impressive, right? oh ho ho ho] Did you remember to check the schedule?

[Because that was the first thing Teddie had beat into him after Yosuke had to pick him up at random terminals around town about five or six or twenty times.]

[ The feeling only brought Ryoji closer to his new pal, even if he couldn't help but feel like there may be some trouble if they run into any cute girls. But there was no harm in some competition, was there? He just happened to be a sweetheart like that. Truthfully, Ryoji wasn't sure where he was going. He was simply compelled to head out into the world! ]

Yeah!

[ Oooh no, Teddie, no you don't, you're not out-smiling Ryoji. He forced a stronger grin, squinting just slightly as he beamed his best. The lad was positively glowing as he joyfully shook Teddie's hand. ]

I'd like that! Junpei-kun said that all of the ladies could be found at the beach, so what better way to get there right? The schedule?

[ He didn't- He didn't check it, but he couldn't break the sparkling facade. ]
